David Smith,  is the  founder of Image by Interface and is works have been published in international books, national and local  magazines,  newspapers, and  exhibited in art galleries and national photographic conferences.  He is a professional member of Editorial Photographers Professional Association.

EXHIBITIONS/EVENTS/PUBLICATIONS/AWARDS/WORKSHOPS 

May 2006 - images from a location shoot at the Victoria & Albert Museum, London, UK selected publication in a  V&A magazine.

Dec 2005 - May 2006 - guest lecturer (digital and travel photography subjects) on a variety of Holland America Line cruise ships in the Caribbean and the Pacific regions..

February 2006 - architectural photographs selected as part of a traveling group show. the first exhibition is at the University of British Columbia School of Architecture.

October 2005 - Guest speaker at the annual Abbotsford Photo Arts Conference, one of the largest gathering of photographers in western Canada.

Sept 2005 - Publication of architectural photographs in "Poetics of West Coast Modernism"  a book featuring famous West Vancouver, BC  architects. 

Aug 2005 - Image by interface multimedia slide production "Winter Fun in British Columbia" shown to Columbia, Venezuela and Mexico travel industry professionals and receives rave reviews. 

July 2005.   Model photograph selected by One Model Place and published for their Gallery Showcase. 

Jan 23, 2005 - Publication of feature wedding photography article and photographs "Recoding Your Day Digitally Makes Sense"  North Shore News 

September 2004 - Feb. 2005 - Designed and gave comprehensive  courses "Introduction to Digital Photography" Ferry Building Gallery, West Vancouver.  Course has been expanded to 3 additional sessions, including "Intermediate Digital Photography"

August 2004 - Designed and gave Digital Photography seminar at the Harmony Arts Festival, West Vancouver. This event led to the expansion of extended seminars and workshops internationally by 2005.

March 2004 - Programming, design  and production of digital projection technology demonstration at North Shore Challenge slide competition, North Vancouver.
